This website

These public pages load two third party resources, and both are named here rather than left for you to find in the page source.

The first is the web font stylesheet served by Google Fonts, which is needed to display the typefaces used in the design. Loading it means your browser sends a request to that service, which receives your IP address as it would for any resource fetched over the internet. It does not place a cookie.

The second is Google Tag Manager, described in the next section. Beyond those two, these pages run no fingerprinting script, no social network widget and no advertising pixel of their own.

Measurement and tag manager

The public pages of novatrack.io load Google Tag Manager, a container operated by Google Ireland Limited that lets us deploy and change measurement tags without editing the site itself. The container is identified by GTM-N2BZT7SH.

Tag Manager does not measure anything by itself and sets no cookie of its own. What it does is load the tags we put in it. Those tags are what may read and write cookies on your device, typically to recognise a returning browser and to count sessions rather than raw page loads. Because the container can change, we do not print a fixed list of cookie names here that would be out of date within a month. Any tag deployed through it is used to understand how this website is used, never to build an advertising profile of you and never to enrich the click data described below.

Loading Tag Manager means your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address, the page you are on and your user agent. Google acts as our processor for this measurement and may process the data in the United States. That transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, together with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework to which Google adheres.

Measurement cookies are not strictly necessary, so under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act they require your consent before being placed. If you have reached this page from a consent request, your choice is recorded and applies until you change it. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser and reloading the page, or by writing to contact@novatrack.io.

Inside the platform

Once you sign in to an account, one strictly necessary cookie keeps your session open between pages. It contains a random session identifier, nothing else, and it is deleted when you sign out or when the session expires.

A cookie of this kind is exempt from prior consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, since the service cannot work without it. It is not used to follow you, to profile you or to measure anything.

Tracking links

This point matters, because it is the one people assume goes the other way. A NovaTrack tracking link does not write a cookie on the visitor's device and does not read one. The click is recorded on our server from the information any browser sends with an ordinary web request, then the visitor is redirected to the destination. Nothing is stored in their browser by us.

What happens after that is a different matter. The page the visitor lands on is the advertiser's page, and it will apply its own cookie policy and its own consent banner. That part is outside our control and outside this policy.

Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings, per site or globally. Clearing this site's cookies removes any measurement cookie placed through the tag manager and resets the consent choice recorded for you.

Two things are worth knowing before you block everything. Blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to the platform, since the service cannot work without it. And blocking measurement changes nothing about the tracking links: they never wrote anything on a visitor's device in the first place.

Changes

If the tags deployed through the container change in a way that affects what is stored on your device, or if we add a category of cookie not described above, this page is updated first and a fresh consent request is shown before anything new is placed. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
